Organizing a supply drive

in support of Moms Helping Moms and the families and individuals we serve! 

Diapers and Period Products are our most needed items, and the majority of the items that we distribute come from community sponsored drives. We can’t do what we do without you!

We have both in-person and virtual options for hosting a diaper or period supply drive. You will find all that you need to get started here:

How to host an in-person drive

5 Easy Steps

CHOOSE
A LOCATION

Find a spot that people will walk past frequently. This could be in front of a popular store, at the entrance of a school, church, gym, etc. or anywhere that is visible to visitors.

CHOOSE A
START & END DATE

A typical drive can last for a week to over a month. It’s completely up to you to choose the time you would like to collect! We have found that two weeks is usually a successful amount of time.

SPREAD THE WORD ON SOCIAL MEDIA

Spread the word by using our social media outreach templates included below.

Get creative by decorating a recycled box or even pull out a spare pack n play from the closet.

How to host a virtual drive

You can also host a diaper or period supply drive through our virtual platform, You Give Goods, which has a list of our most urgently needed items. All items purchased off the list will be delivered directly to MHM and then distributed to NJ families in need.

SETUP YOUR VIRTUAL DRIVE
Go to https://yougivegoods.com/

momshelpingmoms

and choose the campaign you’d like to support. Then, select “Start an Event” for that campaign.

SIGN IN / CREATE AN ACCOUNT
You will need to create an account to host a drive. This is a free account that you will use to manage your virtual drive. Once you’ve created the account, sign in.

CUSTOMIZE YOUR DRIVE AND CHOOSE A START + END DATE
Enter the name of your drive and click “create your event”. From there, you can begin customizing. Be sure to click “save and continue” to save your changes. *Don’t forget to choose a start and end date! A typical drive can last anywhere from one week to over a month. It’s up to you!

LAUNCH YOUR DRIVE
Once you’ve finished customizing your drive, click “Launch” to start it! Spread the word on social media by using the outreach templates below.

Once your virtual drive ends, You Give Goods will ship all items directly to our warehouse in Warren, NJ.
